Okay, I think it's very cute how their relationship is progressing, and how the male MC is helping to heal her mental breakdown, but I don't think the female MC has yet made a single resolve to mend most of her insecurities that have been piled up over the years.

I really hope the author makes her stronger and shows some character development beyond her just being happy to be in a relationship with the childhood friend. I just want her to be at peace with her past and present.

Her mother loves her, but has been very busy and has given her a lot of space simply so as not to pressure her. They are used, therefore, to living fairly separate lives. They could actually come to interact more even with Ri-chan living some distance away.
