Small note on this chapter. If you read the chapter when this originally happened (right before she changed her appearance), it seems like the judge is being extremely harsh to the point of being brutal.

This chapter shows it in a different light. She was genuinely making mistakes due to how nervous she was and the judge was really doing his best to give her a fair shot. I liked this chapter a lot.

It's cute, but honestly it feels like a bit of a cop out, because "Do you even know what you are playing?" is still such a harsh line to try and reframe as coming from a kind judge, even with the follow-up. At best, it makes it seem like the judge realized that he accidentally said something too mean, and tried to make up for it.

I don't disagree. I sort of wonder if the Japanese isn't as harsh as I translated it, but I don't really see how else it could be interpreted.

We also don't exactly see what happened in between. He asks somewhat of a rhetorical question. She could have responded that she was nervous, which would make a bit more sense.

Either way, it still feels a tiny bit funky.
