I was half awake when I translated this chapter, so the translations are wayyy too off. Really sorru about that, i’ll do better i promise :’)

I'm sure this isn't the full story yet, but I find it believable her parents' divorce played a major role into how she grew up like that.
The confusion probably comes from the fact that some of the "extras" IMO contain plot-relevant scenes.

I guess the free pages don't show this (yet), but in previous extras it's shown that she's still living with her mom who's a busy office lady and they're not really on bad terms (at least enough to eat dinner together normally). So her parents didn't all leave her alone, it's just her dad who's gone from her life.
