For something that started as a shit post of totally not Putin being send to another world so he can ride wacky fantasy creatures
And then got a rushed final arc, with everyone pulling out convenient bull shit out of their ass to counter the convenient bull shit the final villain was pulling out of her ass, until the author flips the table and calls it and end
Personally i don't think this was never meant to be good, it just got popular beyond measure and the author was forced to make a story they never planned on doing just to keep the ball rolling, so in that sense it is understandable that we got this mess after we went above the 40 chapter mark
So given the circumstances, all in all it could have been worse, specially for someone that went bag chasing instead of sticking to their initial gimmick
With all that said the resolution is an enormous pile of crap, what was the point of forgiving the main villain and sending her to earth, when it was revealed that she was NEVER from earth, she was the daughter of the original girl that was isekaied, and was impersonating her mom all along, forgetting your own plot twist that you introduced one chapter ago is extremely dumb
That also doesn't works as a punishment because you pretty much gave them a free pass to go and start life free in a different world without dealing with any consequences for doing genocide on a planetary scale, doing that completely negates and undermines any criticism about abuse of power and entitlement, despite her only taking and never giving anything beneficial in return, ultimately instead the conclusion makes it clear that it doesn't matter how nefarious and morally bankrupted someone else is, they will always will be able to get away with their bullshit and start over being pretty much forgiven
That goes for both the main villain, and totally not Putin who allegedly was also a villain in his world, and then not only never had to face any accountability for his past, he even got to play hero and preacher in a different universe
As a result the moral an political commentary ends up feeling disingenuous and hollow, and hurts the end product more than it enriches it, if any, specially more aggravating when it tries to switch the blame onto the common folk absolving those in power for abusing it, when historically it is always the common folk the ones that take down those in power
Also also, this manga is ambiented in feudalism, rulers and those on top are not elected but chosen by fate and birth right, the idea of a meritocracy is not reflected in the manga itself, because those are not the tenants upon which the setting was build upon, so why even try to say that the world was going to fall apart if you don't put the right people in the right place, then dismiss the idea by bringing up how the world didn't end despite the wrong people being in charge for 500 years? your final message fails to land even for your own fictional story...
4/10 should have remain a shit post manga if this was how it was going to play out
