Behold, the "Mood Theorem"! It's nothing short of magnificent. All the necessary values are accounted for and properly weighted and, though it may not look it, it's concise and clean.
These are my kind of people!!!
After all: How can you be sure something is perfect (aka optimal) if you can't measure and quantify it?
Although I agree with the guys in the last panel with regards to his exit.

I don't think so, but making a manga out of the life leading to a PhD thesis could be fun (or depressing as hell, depending what you're doing).
this is actually good. when i started reading i thought it would be like the "smart" characters in other manga who solve some unrelated equations when they're eating food or whatever or they're like "oh no i can't possibly understand emotions because i like science"
..this satisfies that trope but it seems those two are actually trying to do a proper thesis instead of just being stupid so that the mangaka has a funny joke. the girl who keeps getting weirded out is kind of annoying me.
i binged it and as a STEM graduate myself, i can safely say that the author is DEFINITELY onto something
the mood calculator in particular, is pretty damn brilliant
If the mood was right for the perfect kiss that would have made her fall for him then that kiss on her hair just outright threw her down the love abyss.....this guy is awesome...
