Even though the series dragged out a lot of stuff, I’m quite content with the ending. Especially since Zuo Fan is seen happily with his girl…if there was no romance scene at the very end then I would be very disappointed in the series

The ending was perfectly fine as a whole and wraps things up nicely for the most part.
Every gripe I have with it was an overarching issue with the series itself.
I would not consider it a great series because of just how many asspulls there are, but it was an acceptable read.
still gonna give it a 6/10 as i personally can't stand all the Wuxia cliches and random powerups MC gets out of nowhere.
Its one thing to have a system, but when the system itself is starting to pull random powerups out of its ass just so MC can fight another bad guy who is stronger then the , it passes a line...

A nice wholesome ending is a good way to end the story. A couple ass-pulls through out the story but overall not that bad of a series.

Early on the creators seemed to realize that there was a massive error in the logic for the breakthroughs to New levels. There was not a rational explanation For the increase in powers from breaking through because of the numerical tags assigned to each breakthrough level. Early on they tried to fix it by adding a few extra points after a breakthrough but I guess the creators thought that was still a problem, So they later started to just not show points but they still had a problem because they would reference points after the breakthroughs. By the end they just totally stop talking about Points because it a complete mess which actually helped but it was still frustrating for those of us who like that element in these stories. So after adding all that to all the many other issues I give it a rating of Tortuously Painful Read. But since I am a nobody what do I know

I've read it in almost a single go, is not that it have a couple ass pulls, is a costant, everytime MC is in a fight he is the weak part, then he gets the boost needed to win, is not a weird cliche in battle stories, but here is always the same turnaround and it never changes.
And yes, the last chapter is dissapointing, it just ends, manga are better there to show the important characters life after everything gone down, here we see MC, dad, gf and 2 monsters.
