I'm guessing the sword material is superior to normal and to bend or break it it requires much more than that, or the studio just didn't think much about it.

Interesting his comment about the poitns, he used them and got stronger, but in exchange the system dminished how many he could get from the same tier of monster.
Had MC not used them and continued at the level he was last chapter he would have gained a lot more, but the system is lacking and didn't tell this kind of basic info.
