Looked into their discord server, apparently someone said they're fighting against legal issues? Still no official news from mods. It might take a while till they return (or maybe not if they lose, which I hope doesn't happen.)

Apparently Rizz (Realm) is getting acquired by Genz (Surya)? Has this ever happened before, an actual TL group gets acquired by a money-oriented MTL group? Was this also what happened with Reset? Fucking hell.

Note that it's Genz who one-sidedly claimed of an acquisition happening.

Of note is that since these aren't (and shouldn't be!) legitimate business organizations, it's pretty much a free-for-all. Unless people tell us exactly what happened, what they mean by "acquired" is anyone's guess—all we have is a vague notion that probably one or more people or else at least a hard-drive worth of stuff from group A moves to group B.

For-profit scanlation groups are the worst, tho. Absolute peak of hypocrisy.

according to what someone said on discord, the former owner won a prize in a lottery and the dmca issues were too much. domain change every year isn't worth the hassle when he has the money, so he retires
Both admins also quit , there discord has become 404, u can check. they are the ones switching to genz toon
