i assume he was watching a real movie but dang that fog, i wonder if there'd be landlords that'd take it seriously versus him paying outta pocket to go to a shrine and ask a monk to purify it lol

(then again i guess if it's a manifestation of his own headspace can't rly do much about it but it would be wild if the author randomly had a brief supernatural dose in a series like this lol)

and congrats on a new pregnancy, it's understandable he wouldn't necessarily know unless his friend talked about wanting kids even before a marriage tho other than wine i'd think some ppl would buy a non alcoholic gift as a backup or so

Well the fog went away the moment he remembered that you can be happy while being single and focusing on your life, so no need for an exorcist in this case

I also have a black fog with me too. Sometimes you just have live (and ignore?) with the black fog even if its biting you. Theres always time to deal with it later. Or im just procrastinating.

That felt good. Glad to see that he's embracing the idea that you only really need to compare yourself with yourself and that you can be truly happy for others success. That dissipation and sunshine was beautiful symbology.

In my opinion a pretty accurate representation of being inspired by a figure you hold in high regards. My ex-boss was a truly very kind person. I worked under them when I was younger, and being young means being ambitious and perfectionist, and being both of those means not shying away from, and even making conflicts occur. The black fog whispering was jealousy, pettiness and desires manifest.

Just observing them inspired me to be kind just to be kind, not for an angle, help nor connections. Just be happy you helped others, even if others may not help you back. They didn't preach or advise me to fix my attitude or anything. It's just the weight of shame of being near a truly pure hearted person. I really wanted to be like them.

It's not a slow process either. It took some adjusting to how I view work, relationships, the world and myself. I stopped being so calculating and just extend a helping hand just for the sake of it. I'm still far from that ideal but I'd like to inch closer to that ideal whenever I get the chance to.
