Nah that's a dumbass take. There's mountains of rock music about sex. It was "sex, drugs, and rock & roll" for a few decades for a reason, and just because rock music got less popular doesn't mean bands stopped making music about those topics.

Your taste is just different than what's mainstream.

No where near as much as the crap we get post 2000s,by virtue of how much get pumped out compared to the fixed number of all songs created before the 2000s.
