Just to avoid some potential misunderstandings:
First of all Germany doesn't have a prime minister but a chancellor. Furthermore the STASI used to be the eastern German (communist) agency to keep their inmates or citizens in line. Fortunately it's already been dissolved and longe gone (since reunification in 1990 as is).
