Very enjoyable, it really didn't need to go too complex or in-depth with characters and backgrounds.
Just the right amount of not-quite yuri to keep the smoothbrains entertained.
Just the right aesthetic, and not forgetting. Definitely recommended.
Kinda... Decent(?) enough ending but I was really hoping it would've gone further into the relationships between everyone more than just "Yeah we're okay with each other now and oh she likes you"
A happy ending that's happy only because it doesn't actually address the whole robot/human relationship deal at all. Remember when robots being abused by humans was a bad thing we should worry about? I don't either.

Mass effect Triology
I robot
Chappie
Blade runner (technically not a robot or an AI, but organism made by human and abused)

It's not manga or anime but you get the point. It's been done in fictional story multiple times already.
If you're arguing about manga or anime there might be one but didn't get under your reader as I myself can't remember much either.
But if it's about writing, those list definitely on the top list. I guess Japan spend too much time thinking on how to fuck a robot instead about AI-Human relationship.
@Stormtomte funny that you mention prez and the detective... they are actually a thing. I was gonna translate the relationship chart in the extras for volume 2, but I figured it was obvious enough
I'm not sure why this series and its ending worked so well for me
The fact that Anna's feeling for Reina get so unceremoniously dropped should really bug me but it just doesn't?
idk maybe its the world building and art carrying this so hard but whatever it is, this is like a strong 8.5/10 for me
I read the first volume a long time ago and just came back and binged it to the end. I liked the tension between Yui and Anna, creator and clone, both jealous of each other, and I'd enjoy a story that explored that further. As it was, it was a decent little read. Thanks for the translations!
