Chiaki has grown up quite a lot, just accepting that Maeda is destined to live his life fighting like that.
It was also funny having Maeda literally remind this guy of a match from 7 years ago. Like sure, punching like there's 20 seconds left in the final round may not have been enough to be Japanese champ, but surely it's enough to beat some strong rookie, huh? Solid logic!

In all honestly; this manga is not only a true classic but also a masterpiece. It's has beautiful art and soo many great characters.
