@RavenWolf Rather than "a man has to protect a woman" I'm preety sure the problem actually is the fact that he's making someone else take care of the problems he created and asking her for help would be no more than using her as a tool. He wants to clean up messes created by himself.

Well he's definitely pulling some gender nonsense out of his ass by saying "a man has to protect a woman," but it's also not like he created the problem (I'm assuming you mean the bullies here). Having an ally to support you is a good thing (not that fighting it out is the right way to do it lol but this is a manga), the real issue is that he's passively controlling the delinquent girls - taking away their agency.
