Just want to know, does anyone in here has done RP or Roleplay before? Maybe it will be fun if we could play together. Thanks

I often play TTRPGs, and spent an embarassing amount of time on shitty RP forums in highschool. I don't have many good experiences of RPGs with online players, though, be it voicechats, browser clients like Roll20 or text-based. Far too prone at falling apart or having godawful players. I now prefer more casual things that don't require much coordination on people's part, like CYOAs.

Thanks for the response. I too have some experience in RP-ing, although unlike roll20 or game based rp. i usually do rp in story scripting like style. where me and my group would usually play a single or more character into a drama like script without being restricted by rule and system. It's fun, but yeah it need quite the amount of coordination with each other in order to make it good and fun.

CYOA is also a good one to read a story, but also wanting to have a certain amount of influence in story. which makes it indirectly like we were a part of the tales.

There was an RP forum section in another site I regularly visit in the past. It was basically 1/4 of the forums so it's unavoidable. Played in some. There was practically zero coordinations so, no joke, 99.9% of all RPs die. What's considered a "successful" RP is if you have more than three replies, more or less. You can imagine how slow the RP is considering that that is the forums. RPs would last days/weeks on end mostly cause replies were expected to take hours.

I remember starting an RP and having to wait an entire day to see if people are interested. My most successful one was one about superpowers taking place in some sort of battle scenario. There were no coordination whatsoever so the plot just went anywhere anyone wants it to be and everyone else plays along. The reason why I call it a success is cause they create a second forum thread cause the first one was getting too long (they didn't have forum pages). I think a popular one lasted three or four threads once.

Hey guys wanna start a roleplay thread about us getting isekai'd?
