i love this story and considering that it was my first anime i decided to read the manga couple years after i watched it i love both but WTF how did this story go from this to that its like turning an apple into an orange what happened in between the manga and the anime adaptation
now don't get me wrong with it being my first anime it will always hold a special place in my heart but how just how
what were they thinking be removing the whole "change" ark and its effects like really that is one of if not the most interesting consepte within the entire story with the exception as the whole premise of the story and they through it out the f!@#ing window

I am just a manga reader.
it was a fun read but I don't think it was great
because every chapter is the same joke but in a different way
bad guys appears almost kills Moka or Tsukune but they activate their powers and defeat him.
the phrase 'know your place' was used so many times.
but even with the same joke repeating the story progresses with the romance and the powers around Tsukune but it was still too repetitive.

hopelessly mediocre. It doesn't even get somewhat interesting until around ch30 and then you only have 1/4 of the manga to read left. I will give props to the monster designs at least. Mediocre doesn't mean bad but it doesn't mean it's good either.

This manga was outselling some of the big three in the U.S. back in the early 2000s and 2010s.

Imagine what would’ve been if it manga had more mainstream appeal back then. Or if they hadn’t botched the anime so badly.

Anyways, a classic manga in my mind. The only thing you can say is that it comes across as repetitive but I think it manages to shake up many times in significant ways. Chapter 20 is legendary. I also love how the art matures along with the characters and the story. I don’t think it was intentional but it might as well be and it adds a whole different dimension to the manga that I don’t think any other manga manages to replicate.
