Hello rose mist! I like to ask you something if that's ok? I want to know that how do you contact with the authors of the comics you translate Or how you translate the comics? I mean do you know the language? I'm asking because if i ever want to translate comics too....so......you know getting some knowledge here😊

Hello there!

Yeah ofc, I’d be happy to answer your questions.

Most scan teams (RM included) operate on a policy where translation is generally seen as ok, unless the author explicitly prohibits it.
And yea lol the translators of these series speak the respective languages (eg for chinese series, the translators speak Chinese )
And hahaha totally understandable! I’d recommend getting a good grasp of the language before you go and try to translate something, it’ll save you some heartache lol.

Oh, sorry for how long it took to reply--quality checker basically checks the previous steps, so like a second pr, ts, etc. Rn we're just crowdsourcing qc's lmao
