This story is genuinely the most bad shit insane thing i've read in a while. At the start isn't what i'd call profound, but going from the middle to the end, yeah it's peak. Also the characterization is immaculate and i love the absurd way the characters grow while fighting.
Only thing that bothered me a little is that because of it's structure the protagonist hasn't had much time to shine, i would have loved seeing more of her.
I was kind of put off in the start, but after a while i couldn't not appreciate how unashamed it is of being itself. And it takes full advantage of that, this manga is really fucking funny!

peak manga lol
You know, I think it would be hard for this manga to get an anime adaptation. Not because the obvious reasons. But because so many characters have a sex change, that unless they have the VA keep voicing their chars even when they transform, it would be a nightmare.

The reason why this manga didn't get a score close to 10 is because of the early days, It started off just like any other garbage rape shite manga out there and people gave it a low score (including me). Here I am 4 years later accidentally found this manga again and decided to give it a 2nd chance. My god...it's PEAK, the plot, the characters developments, the fighting, the weirdness, EVERYTHING IS PEAK.

Honestly, I'm kinda torn on this one. It has a lot going for it, but at the same time, I feel it has a lot holding it back. It's not over yet but I don't think this will change by the end.
On one hand, the art is fantastic, the fights are usually fun, and I thing the story is pretty good. The MC is a good protagonist as well, which helps a lot. On the other hand though...
Okay, elephant in the room, yes this is a practically a hentai manga. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so, at least not that much. With a manga premise as inherently sexual as this one, I think it is the right call to just show the sex rather than hiding or overly censoring it. HOWEVER, I do think that the raunchy nature of this manga drags it down at least 1 point out of 10.
My much bigger issue is with the tournament "arc" that eats up half the fucking series. It was so long that I genuinely have trouble remembering what happened beforehand without rereading it from the start. Tournament arcs are fine if you have really good execution with them. This manga has very mixed execution. Some chunks are really good, while some are really really really boring.
The lack of purpose also really stings sometimes. With this kind of thing, you'd typically want the main plot to move forward in the fights, or at least at the same time. Since if you don't, the investment from the audience is ruined. Stopping for maybe like 10 chapters to powerscale your characters is cool and all, but you have to move on at some point, y'know?
Lastly, some of the characters are really grating, like the breastfeeding mom guy is miserable, and the bdsm sub prince isn't much better. Their "comic relief" makes me want to drop this series.
Overall, I liked it, but there are plenty of problems for sure. As of now, it's like a 7/10, might bump it down idk. Depending on how good the ending is, this number could easily go way up or way down. The art is still breathtaking, the plot is goofy in a (usually) fun way, and the first half of the story didn't magically disappear so that's still great.
