@konzolmester Yeah, the author really dropped the ball on this one. The writing is lazy af and absolutely terrible. Even considering her character as a Succubus who feeds on sexual energy, there's not enough backlash to the freedom of her actions and the drama tag is barely relevant. It's like the author just said: "Let's throw everything serious and important out of the window and focus on the loli, this needs to be light-hearted!".

And then you have the rushed ending which barely makes sense. Very disappointing read for sure.

@Kingseeker And this got an actual anime adaptation... And people get angry when i snicker at their "this is #1 popular in japan, huge sales bla bla bla" argument.
Problem is, there is no quality control of any kind in todays media. All that matters is potential profit, even if it only brings short initial income. This is why I don't watch anime anymore.

70% wholesome look at family dynamics and what it means to love

15% questionable shots of underage undergarments

15% Norse mythos, isekai-ish, Tsundere rom-com

0% illegal. Honestly people who pull the “calling police” cards are just trying too hard suppressin’ and miss the point of this manga

What a disappointing manga: too tame for the lolicons, too much for everyone else. Kinda hard to believe a manga with the premise of "loli needs semen or else she'll someday die" could have so little sexuality, I don't understand why Rotte is even a succubus to begin with when it's barely relevant. Might as well just make her a generic demon princess or something.

I wanted to like Naoya, he's mature in a way most ecchi MC's arent, but damn does he do basically nothing the whole manga besides seducing random people by accident (something that barely even causes any drama!). He's basically perfect with no flaws while also having no agency: he's boring and his actions never pushes the story forward. He's even unconscious for the climax of the manga! His loyalty to Rotte is never seriously challenged the whole manga to a degree that isn't just boring...but implausible. I never understood why he was even attracted to her over anyone else besides him being mildly pressured to.

Considering the most interesting/fucked up thing going on in the manga is Naoya becoming a dad as a tween it's crazy how little is done with that. Part of why I read this manga was to find out how that happened and damn was that a letdown. Did the manga even say why the queen dumped a toddler on a child? I didn't really care if the queen got punished for her crimes, this series is too lighthearted for that, but I thought it'd be the source of at least moderate conflict...like imagine what if he felt insecure with Rotte because what her mother did to him? Just basic stuff like that would have been nice.

Plus the cast is crazy bloated, they might have interesting backgrounds and introductions but after 67 chapters basically none of them have changed or grown at all, aside from Rotte. This series would have seriously benefited from a dedicated writer, Yui Haga does adorable character designs and has great ideas but my God do they suck at writing an actual story.
