It must be said that this is one of my absolute favourite light novels of all times. If you enjoy reading about strong female characters, the light novel is well worth your time. The manga is good as well, but lack in both world building and character depth. As one would expect from such an adaptation.

All in my humble opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary!
