He already got the boss drop so the boss is truly dead. This might be judged by Shachiku as a hidden event, but I don't think it will affect how the game goes.

I don't think there's a system at all, but his skill is rewriting reality as he expects things to happen the same as the game.

I think people upset about Raspi coming back for sake of the friendly merc party that got murked are forgetting this series is about an RPG. Especially considering we've already heard mention of the "mercenary system", I find it hard to believe that there isn't some pre-defined "recover allies" process in the original game that will be usable to save the mercenary party, as traditional RPGs don't generally have permadeath for fighting NPCs.

Yeah but it's also drawing from influences like Dark Souls. And I don't recall anyone acting like death is a minor setback.

Ugh, crap. A thought just occurred to me. Evil slime boy is privy to secrets he probably shouldn't know about the game world nature of Anivrse. So it's possible everything about him from the point he stole the strange rod and kidnapped Ain, could be off script entierly, considering how much it threw Shachiku off his game so to speak. We could actually be witnessing a new final boss glitch emerge.

That or it's a case of "you killed the boss, your reward is a tiny version of it that you can keep as a pet".
