I've read geology sci com stuff + textbooks, but didn't know about the presence of platinium-like metals in serpentine or the fault uplifting mechanism. Looks like i'll waste my week-end reading some stuff about if i can find it, and that's great.

Her stubbornness lead to an even bigger discovery! that was impressive. It was actually a couple of years ago, maybe even less than I learned that some mountains are actually the result of impacts between tectonic plates and such, and now I learned that some of the mantle gets exposed like that.
Wheeew thankfully that green rock wasn't ultra rare because I knew she would leave it behind by accident.
