While I'm happy this manga takes the effort to portray falsification in practice, I wonder if it would have been better to explain in greater detail what it is and why we need to do it in any proper scientific process.

Iron and its compounds are not the only things drawn to magnets, so a little bit of qualification would be good here.

A bit more discussion of epistemology would be good in many stories beyond those about science. For example, in stories of crime fiction, a character often mistakes a nearly worthless bit of conforming fact as strong evidence, but the general deficiency is not explained.

I understand Ruri's pain by analysing everything through a lens. That's why you need to take breaks now and then to rest your eyes.
