What chapter of the manga is the adaptation on right now? I haven't had a chance to start yet, but from what I saw, they only managed to get 3 of the 4 main characters together in the last episode.

chapter 6 done. Anime releases on Sundays, 2 chapters per episode, currently on episode 3.

yeah. If I got the timing right, I should finish Volume 4 the same week they do. That's assuming 1 chapter a week, but I might be pumping out 2 in August to get a good chunk done before I got back to my studies.

Also at this pace there isn't enough material for 2 seasons. Just reached 6/8 volumes last week

At least a year yeah. From my end I saw the MD bookmarks go from 1500 to 2500 with the release, so it's a decent following
