Nah, just coming of age but spiked with dragon. All this time we thought RuriDragon was a metaphorical battle shonen, but in reality it's spokon with nakama power! Or was it just a tournament arc?
I'm pretty sure that in this case it was meant to be nothing deeper than a typical "I love you bro" scene. This YuriDragon now.
I still try to make jokes about people who said that this manga can't be published in Shonen Jump just because it's a non-action slice of life.Nah, just coming of age but spiked with dragon.

Never know that. Never know a full roster in Shonen Jump to begin with. I just thought that most of the big names there are battle shonen but there must have other things mixed in; but now that you mentioned it, all the title that comes to my mind in Manga Plus are either: battle (either physical or other ways -- such as Show-ha Shou-ten), gag/comedy, romance. No really Slice of life really comes to mind at allI still try to make jokes about people who said that this manga can't be published in Shonen Jump just because it's a non-action slice of life.
Shonen Jump still publishes various titles for the shonen audience that aren't battle shonen without a problem. Inclusions of shonen slice of life. It's just that the diehard audience of such magazines is usually very dogmatic. Remember how fans of Manga Time Kirara magazines get a terrible butthurt every time their manga turns out not to be CGDCT or not yuri bait enough, lol.Never know that.
