I mentioned a couple chapters ago how I find it beyond reckless that nobody has coached her yet on all the shit that she's going to manifest. I mean, there's been poison, fire, electricity, and now cold. It's only a matter of time until someone gets seriously hurt. Fucking TELL HER already. You'll tell a terminally ill patient what horrible symptoms they can expect, or what side effects their treatment could have, but you're not telling this dragon chick who could at any moment start breathing mustard gas, or exude some flesh eating virus from her armpits, or who knows what else? Now it's doubly weird because sure, her mother is clearly an irresponsible adult, but secret dragon organization teacher is also all casual about it? Who the fuck has any accountability here?
Considering Japan's customs.

Ruri is accountable for her own actions.

Because she needs to adapt to japanese society. And not society adapt to her.

All oddballs not welcome to Japan society.

Yea, the vibe only works so well, until western mind set starts to question child custody and responsibility compared with Japanese norms.

Usual shounen manga will kill off the parents so the child has to deal with his powers and getting ostercized in the process. But Ruri has a mother and father.

And also with extrenuating circumstances like these, the mother should apply for extended sick leave like for half a year so Ruri can grow her traits and stabilize.

Real children get hospitalized and have surgeries and take several months off school.

Ruri should have been doing the same. But I guess responsible parents make a very boring story.

Wow new power so quickly after the daemonfire.
I was sure the next chapter was gonna be some slice of life thing.

These complaints boil down to "Why isn't the story explaining everything at once". It's been made pretty clear they don't know what exact powers will manifest, so they just kinda have to see what happens and guide her through them. Ya'll demanding a far less interesting story with these "criticisms"
I kinda hope she hurts someone. Will goes to show that they're unable to fulfill that condition.

And yeah, "Let's not tell her about anything, so accidents happen out of ignorance".

I guess that dragons can take human form (or I don't want to imagine what her mother did), so they should have just asked a dragon (or even, you know, HER FATHER) to give some guidance and teach her about what to expect, instead of that half-assed "secret operative" teacher. It's like every time the guy is like "Oh yeah, there was that.. totally forgot about it, teehee". Not to mention the mother, which seems to be as irresponsible.

I wish her dad would show up in the story already. Like, seriously, if you started having all sorts of issues with your dragon powers, wouldn’t you be at least a little curious about meeting your dad to figure out what’s going on? I mean, in the first chapters, Ruri’s mom kinda made it sound like finding her dad isn’t even that hard. I think it would've made more sense if she had said it was actually difficult to find him or something. But since it seems easy, it just makes Ruri look like she’s being stubborn for not even trying to go after him.
It's been established that he can't just "show up" like that. There's probably a lot of bullshit paperwork he needs to do before he's allowed to just go for a house visit.

Not necessarily about parental responsibility, but Ruri's responsibility to control herself. They clearly love and care for her, but they aren't going to trample on her wishes for her own safety. Also everyone should kinda just enjoy the whimsy of the story right now. It's 1000% YA novel vibes meant as young teen wish fulfillment. Like this exactly the kind of story I'd expect from a YA novel, but with an anime flavor.

Bro, there is no responsibility involved with her initial outbursts. She gains control afterwards after the power manifests.

That's like telling a girl, her first period is her responsibility to not leak blood everywhere. Its her first time? How the hell is she able to tell the future? There are no established menustral cycle yet since this is the first one.

Ruri biological outbursts are like growing pains. Sure she controls them afterwards. But maybe establish a two month grace period to see if further new power symptoms manifest before letting her back to school? If, for example, two months without triggering new powers, we assume her growth spurt has ended or something.

At the current time rate of the story
She is manifesting a new power every one to two weeks.

Like I said, just treat Ruri like she had a medical accident, and just let her "recover". Where recovery is letting her powers finish manifesting and stabilizing.
