Might have been better to send the ninja girl to the shrine using the forest as a cover. But then again, Kenshin could have also thrown what's left of his sword at the broom head's face, while the broom head was distracted. The sword would have missed then as well, but the dude would have also taken damage in addition. But who am I to give advice to the mighty Kenshin?
