I’m sick of people saying his work is bad cuz he’s a “pedo” cuz he just ain’t lmao. What happened was he had dirty mags of like 16 year olds but for context that was perfectly legal a couple months before hand. The Japanese government basically said “right this stuff is gonna be illegal from now on so you’ve got a couple months to get rid of it or else you get fined”. He has an attraction to a specific thing and had a perfectly legal way of obtaining it and was just too stubborn to get rid of it. You should always separate the work form the creator unless the work promotes the authors crimes. Like say what you want about Michal Jackson but the guy made some amazing music. So if you’re gonna hate on this at least find a problem with the work itself and not for the author

The new kids are interesting but they're obviously weren't planned and Watsuki just wants to add them in to have a reason to continue his success manga just like the new Yashahime anime is continuing where Inuyasha left off for the sake of nostaglia bucks. Despite the blatant fanservice, I'll read it to see if Watsuki would add more fuel to fire by pandering to old fans or if he can add more to his legacy but I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking.

just a quick PSA to anyone reading the comments; the author might have done questionable stuff but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying the things you enjoy. with that being said, good luck finding much to enjoy from this manga since it's not that great.
