Remove the teacher? interrupting them for some stupid reason.
Cut out the frankly disgusting drama of ML apologizing for his fathers supposed fault (is breaking up illegal now??).
And suddenly you can have a nice little awkward confession scene and a happily ever after.
Though I'd also not mind them cutting out the bullshit about how it's IMPOSSIBLE to do the entire event and needing to cut it down over and over because... Why exactly? Public backlash?
Feels like the old isekai style rumor mill where even if you're strong enough to beat dragons, if the rumor mill says you're trash you cannot advance from F rank.
