I'm getting sooooooooo tired of this trope. It makes sense if the MC is some rando, in a way. Despite what our resident alpha edgelords may think, it's not easy to kill a person. You go from living in Paris, 2020, never even gotten in a fist fight, to murdering bandits in your Isekai. Yeah, no.
