Yessss another chapter of Ultimate Himbo Kingdom. Looks like we're getting another monster combat arc, before the incoming winter survival arc.
They fled from their old habitat because they were probably chased out. Author seems to be implying a Fire Dragon is involved. Since Treants disguise themselves as trees, they headed for the nearest forest, but the barrier set up by the kids kept them out. They're in that spot because that was as close as they could get because they were out of options. Since their instinct is to corrupt all things with miasma, that is why the Dwarf said they could not flee, because their impulses won't allow them to when facing a target which satisfies their impulses. That's what the explanation means.Weird.
On one page, they explain that the treants are so thoroughly corrupted that they can't even flee, yet when they theorize on why the treants are in such an unusable hiding spot, the answer is that they fled there...
Like, c'mon, it's in the same chapter
Dude never played skyrim, so now Todd has to reincarnate.Dude has 0% "this might come in handy later" mentality.
The treant can't flee from the creature that had no miasma, like Diaz and Narvant here. But how the treants ended up on the mountain, they probably flee from a creature with stronger miasma than them.Weird.

Turns out it would have been a good idea, though. They are living far away from civilization, so they can't get stuff conveniently. A travelling merchant might visit, but the merchandise carried is always a hit and miss, like a weird suit for a porn actress. Fortunately they can always make a little trip to slay monsters, so it wasn't a big loss this time. It could have been worse, which is why the dwarves were so shocked. If you haven't got easy supply routes, you need to think of unlikely scenarios as much as about the likely ones.Considering just a few chapters ago the story mentioned that human without magic like Dias are negatively affected by presence of magic power, keeping them around back then wasn't a good idea anyway.
I know they're monsters but still, poor trees.
And what's that on the last page saying Aruna's secret savings decreased a little? Very sus.
