for once can we have the "every character around the mc is a perfect human being" trope without having it explained just how perfect everyone is in multiple pages every 10 seconds nothing fucking happened this chapter because author couldnt stop dickriding their own characters

Other than dragging out the plot and giving the mangaka more things to draw and plan, does anybody else think it’s weird we have more manga about these scenarios where NOTHING happens rather than manga where the characters actually give in to their rolls a lot more, like she’s the school idol basically, they’re living alone and on top of that she WANTS him to touch her etc etc, but when we reach that point the mangaka never ever crosses it and instead writes and draws about the adventure rather than the activity, it’s just something I’ve always wondered with these romance titles, cause I for one would love to read about the events of a couple rather than the story of how they got together

There’s a clear reason for that - it’s easier to write wishy-washy romcom stuff than people in an actual stable, healthy relationship.

Conflict-wise, you’d have to think of something for your loving couple to face, while for Love Hina-type escapades the conflict is the romance.

So, this lad has two "perfect" friends, one of whom has it for him bad. Then out of nowhere this perfect girl bails him out of all his debt and only asks him to date her in exchange. He spends half a chapter pondering how "God loves" other characters. Makes perfect sense, that XD

Thanks for the chapter, I'm in for the insanity!
