I dont know Ryu, seeing all of that was really sad and my takeaway wouldn't be "Wow! Peking opera is AWESOME!" but we live 100 years apart so I'll give you that.

Also I Fenghua being intersex was a revelation. I guess the question of his identity could have been the catalyst for him choosing to become an actor playing female roles.
