It introduces a lot of backstory about Yoshida, but mostly I am surprised about that introduction to the forest elf community and then the calm responses of everyone else after the introduction is over. Yoshida should have fit right into the community judging after those introduction panels with the orcs...

nope. Elves' violence is free-spirited, easygoing, carefree violence. They don't really hate orcs, they just want to have fun, **** and candles. Yoshida, on the other hand, is the vivid example of cold-blooded, vindictive, calculated...yeah, you can say: bureaucratic violence. She fits so much better in Idazig than at home
