I... Actually don't mind that. The artstyle being more simple really reminds me of Hasegawa's style from Gundam Crossbone.
Plus it makes the characters look more relatable and let them have way more expressions. And besides the mangaka/artist likes to draw monsters more detailed anyways (you can look up their name on Pixiv) so nothing wrong with making the human characters simpler.

Found this when someone posted it on r/manga a while back. This shit is GOOD.
One of the massive things to note about this is the dragon looks truly insane. It felt foreign, foreign in the sense of being something not of this world, like an eldritch abomination. The impact of its presence felt like a force of nature, it is genuinely titanic in size, which contributed to the feeling of it being something insurmountable by human strength alone. I was holding my breath on some of its panels. Well done to the mangaka for portraying it this way.
A LOT of the design direction is incredible. It feels like it’s its own world being defined rather than a world based off of ours, which is a great start.
