maybe the author doesn't know what to do with her, but at the same time he wants us to like her.
The author knows that the hook of the show is Sasha's development. The fact that we talk so much about it and get angry proves this is the case. If Sasha's development happens the series is over as he has not found another hook for us to keep getting interested in the story even though he was able to make the rest enjoyable.

The worst part is that we can't even get a gradual development because what Sasha needs to do is very simple, own up to her mistakes, accept that there were other ways to handle the expulsion (the time she questioned herself the others immediately jumped to say that no that she made the right decision), That she could've at least let him make his case instead of ambushing him with the exile, that she could've avoided the dragon issue by doing more research, that she should've stayed by his side when he was in a coma, that she shouldn't have waited 2 years (conveniently until he became a know powerful individual at her level) to apologize, that the team treated him like shit compared to Sasha who gets forgiven for anything, that she absolutely forgot about their dreams. But the author can't possibly milk 100 chapters of this, it will come in like 10 max and then it is over.

I understand your point since lots of romcoms do the same thing with the pairings but I think you're forgetting they technically solved their problems,
Hyce and Sasha haven't called themselves friends or comrades but behave as if they were and he no longer avoids team Sacred or Sasha, has drinks with them laughs with them, fights with them etc etc...
All of that without a single apology and only through internal conflict, let's call internal conflict being told you did a bad thing 2 years ago recognize it on your head and BOOM problem solved without effort.
I forgot to add that the author also forced a few romantic situations and the usual first wife's jealousy so I don't think he can milk anything more with the apology, remember that everything mentioned here happened relatively early in the novel so I think he simply didn't want HIS Sasha to be wrong.
I can't classify that behavior as milking, it's simple favoritism.

The reality is that things have been solved for a long time. The conflict and "reconciliation" they had were completely artificial, it was a reminder that the issue persisted and the "reconciliation" changed absolutely nothing, so expect this conflict to become a thing again, especially when Sasha forces her way into the harem and Haise is like "but I haven't forgiven you! but I'm not supposed to love you but I do" or some bullshit like that.

he simply didn't want HIS Sasha to be wrong.
He kinda does, he definitely did in the trial where it shows the alternative timeline, and with Sasha carrying all that guilt. If he wanted Sasha to be right then Haise would've been the one to face the trial with an alternative timeline where he is not exiled but everything goes wrong instead.

It can be said that Shasa is a very disappointing person, both in terms of childhood friends and people who share dreams together. Because he became impatient in handling Hyce's case when he was in the same party, he destroyed their relationship.

Hyce also knew that maybe it was for his own good but regardless of whatever reason, she had to kick him out of the party and she had betrayed him. The strange thing is that Shasa was ready to be hated when she decided to expel Hyce (thinking she would be forgiven as time went by) but because of her suggestion that made Hyce almost die she immediately knew that her previous relationship had been completely destroyed, she wanted to fix it but it wasn't that simple because she had also betrayed him their relationship will never be like it used to be.

Shasa became afraid and didn't want her relationship with Hyce to just be destroyed, so she tried as hard as possible to stay involved with him, which shows that she is a very selfish girl. It seems like the author is also confused about reconciling their relationship, which is because their background is quite tense. Originally they were supposed to be separated forever, but the author still seems to want to make Shasa to be Hyce heroine, so the impression is that their relationship is too forced.

It's frustrating to call her disappointing since it's artificial, if she acted on her reflections Sasha would've been the most loved heroine without a doubt.

The exile devastated Hyce but as proved by his willingness to pick the herbs Sasha recommended there was a chance of reconciliation but the 2 years void after the accident proved fatal since it wasn't about the perceived betrayal (that was solved by the GM from day 1) it was about the abandonment, despite her intentions Hyce received a clear message "I don't care about you" and actions speak louder than words, so a chapter about Sasha crying because Hyce got hurt means nothing in front of the truth that ignoring someone you "care" for 2 years means.

Not in a positive way xD even if that were the objective, it would still be horrible the way it's being done

Happy holydays... i know is not everyone's cup of tea, but i like when the TL shares their mind about stuff, like a one way manga club

...also, the MC is leaning to tsun territory with all that self justification, but i like it when the character is not full on edge... but also makes me a bit disheartened that he will eventually just forgive everyone at the party, i mean, regardless of the intention they did him bad and kept doing it, if not for the awakening he would be the lowest of the low (and dead, lest not forget the dead part) with their brand of "charity"
i hope the alter it, so he doesnt

I kinda forgot to answer this part, sorry.
Sasha always recognizes her mistakes but never acts on them, or at least not to he point where it causes her any harm. This author is smart and knows how to play with people, so if he shows Sasha being criticized most people will get tricked even when there are no consequences.

A decent example would be the Alibaba quest, her team did abandon her but only for half a day so there's no damage done and some readers might think "she got reprimanded" but it's a farce, if the author let characters flow at the very least that should've driven a wedge between the members and erode their trust in her.

Another example would be Hijiri's first wake-up call, when she calls Sasha a dictator, it would've been interesting character growth if she actually treated some members harshly, loses clan personnel and some credibility, but as always Sasha reflected about something she isn't doing right now since she's the perfect clan leader.

Well, the main reason why people hate Shasa is because she didn't immediately apologize and explain exactly what happened to him when she advised him to take herbs somewhere and that place was the place where the black dragon bathed, which caused Hyce to almost be killed. After that, when Hyce woke up, Shasa didn't wait/accompany him until he woke up or even gave him a letter and apologized, instead she took the mission the next day after Hyce was treated.

2 year skip isn't explained in the manga, but in WN in those 2 years they met several times at the guild but all they did was glance at each other and just leave, making Hyce think they didn't care about him anymore and ignored him. and when they both became S rank adventurers, that's when Shasa wanted to apologize, which MC of course refused because he thought they had hidden intentions towards him. Maybe it's for this reason that people hate this girl so much.

But there are several things that make me unable to think like other readers because their problems are full of misunderstandings. there are some parts that are not explained in the manga according to WN or LN so people quickly jump to conclusions about the girl, ignore the rest of the Secred team because this is just a problem for these two people.

Initially they checked their abilities. Shasa with "Master Sword", Hyce with "Master Weapon" and Hyce doesn't know how to use his abilities, there they are only 12 years old. Before forming a party they trained under Geist for 1 year (their relationship here is still good and Shasa has not been rude to him) and only formed a party at the age of 13 and a few months later they got members namely Raynold, Robin, Tycon, and Piazolla (after there was a new member coming in, Shasa was often rude to Hyce due to various factors and Shasa cried until she fell asleep every day because she was rude to Hyce and Robin said it was because of girl problems) and 1 year later at the age of 14 Hyce was expelled because he was considered incapable accompanied Secred in his current condition (when Rynold asked Shasa if he had made up his mind and Sahsa answered "Yes, because he is a special person" while smiling and blushing (here Raynold didn't like the face that Shasa was showing because every time she discussed Hyce, she was always like it).

There are details (but maybe only a few things because it's going to be long) that I want to cover and you probably won't find in the manga:
  • Shasa trembled with fear when she found Hyce carrying a dragon's head and looking at her with strong killing intent towards her, this was the reason Shasa had not been able to apologize for 2 years because she was afraid of Hyce.
  • Shasa was confused about how to apologize properly because every word she said meant nothing to Hyce anymore and she did various things to stay connected to him even offering her body to Hyce (Hyce thought she was very pathetic at that time).
  • Shasa has always loved Hyce but only realized after Hyce was no longer with her.
  • She is always jealous of girls who are close and talk intimately with Hyce (in WN when facing the 4th labyrinth exam part "Ur Hood" namely Robin's older sibling when facing his past he chose to guide and accompany Robin until she was an adult and they met Secred's party where Hyce remains in the party with both eyes looking intact and Shasa is jealous when Robin talks intimately with Hyce) here it is explained that Robin has not entered Secred's party earlier Hyce looks at Secred (and possibly has awakened him abilities). What is the reason for Shasa being rude? (jealous) of Hyce because he often gets along with Robin?
  • Shasa started being nice to weak adventurers after having problems with Hyce.
  • Shasa is always thinking about Hyce everywhere (what if she keeps Hyce in Secred and when Hyce awakens his abilities the two of them will become adventurers in the spotlight and then become a couple and get married and have children and so on) and her friend knows who she's thinking about.
  • and there are many more that if explained would feel like it would be too long.

I think she's just an ordinary girl who is unlucky in facing her problems... :ROFLMAO:

In my opinion, this was a nothingburger and the team should not be mad, especially Reynolds who also took a secret quest once 😂. The point of this moment was to show some "consequences" to Sasha because Haise stopped being mad at her REALLY FAST even though she deserved some harsh words but Haise just heard her out and forgave her immediately, so we had to create the artificial situation of her team being mad for a couple of hours. Also, one thing I hated about this is that they were mad at Sasha for doing what they all did to Haise (making decisions behind his back) but there was no mention of this.

I got conditioned very early to Sasha doing whatever she wants to the MC without consequences that I totally ignored this point, Thank you! The first time (sky city) was enough to dissolve the party, but the author managed to fool most readers to ignore that point, so he used a lighter situation with lots of ways out to "punish" Sasha.
I found this quest to save the girl playing bandit a bit weak, I mean if you kill the girl you are picking a fight with the clan? What's a member of your clan doing with a renowned bandit group? That alone is enough have your clan investigated, so an adventurer killing that bandit-girl is hardly enough to start a fight.
About the hypocrisy, I think only Robin and Tycoon would care about that since the horny duo is horny, Robin is too weak-willed to take action and Tycoon barely cares about inter-personal relationships, though he understand them more or less.

Yeah, the Sky City was wild, Sasha's dream now is to make the strongest team, so she is supposed to do the labyrinths with her team, not with Haise 😂
About the bandit girl think, this was also a REALLY STUPID scenario. The reason why Sasha joined that mission was because she was told that Haise was going to kill a girl who belonged to a big clan, and this could result in that clan attacking Haise. Here's the issue, if that happened, Haise would be in a defensive war where he would have the support of the guild and kingdom as Eclipse's clan attacking him would be seen as illegal and they would be the aggressors. But if Sasha helps the girl escape and Haise still wants to kill her, now Haise has to become the aggressor. The author had to make Haise change his mind after (Haise literally promised that he was going to kill EVERY member of the bandits) so that Sasha didn't get any consequences...

The funny thing is that the story would've been the same even without shoehorning Sasha there,
Robin's bro snags the girl and runs away, Eclipse gets the info and the confrontation starts.
I guess the author wanted more of his favorite character screwing over the MC again.
