Alright, this is basically Arifureta, only this imagine if Kaori was the one who left him. I'll admit it's alright. Still inferior to it's predecessor but alright nonetheless. Better than Failure Frame and that other manga with the absorption ability (but that one has nips so mmkay with that one). I'll give it that

usually its the opposite, dungeon appear on earth with medievals structures or abandoned temples ~

The details I mentioned are about how the Sasha just left after he got injured to a mision out of town to keep her distance from the MC, they met many times afterwards but just ignored each other, she had many many chances to apologize but never did for 2 whole years.
The current situation with the MC and Sasha is that they are on good terms, enough to go together for the final mission. They are basically in a "MC doesn't forgive them, their previous relationship is dead, but now they have a new relationship" state, and really, this has basically been a thing since almost the beginning, it is weird because multiple times they kinda move forward, but it is still this "new relationship, the previous one is dead" thing. There was a time when the MC had a mental breakdown because he noticed he didn't have issues with joining forces with his previous team for one of the epic dungeons, and that was a whole drama of "damm we really need to solve this now" but nothing got really solved, they just talked, said the same things they said before, Sasha still doesn't regret her decision, Haise still doesn't forgive them, but they have this "new relationship" bullshit which AGAIN it is the same thing they reached 100s chapters ago, but somehow now they can work together (which they already did before btw) and stuff. The funniest thing is that in that same mission, Sasha is shown an alternative reality where she didn't banish Haise, it was shown to be great, and we still don't get a "oh fuck, maybe I was wrong!" from Sasha 😭 I don't get the author, why do you show her that just to not get anything out of it?
Absolute garbage writting.
Although, i feel like it is infuriating how everyone is brushing past his trauma and playing match maker, specially that guild master guy, biggest piece of s**t in my view.
Oh wowe, she is an angel, lied her ass to save him, had the absolute worst attitudes and after 2 years of avoidance she decides to make up with him. Specially now that it is most convenient.

This is just my two cents, opiniated take, but it would be better off if the Mc just stayed clear of her and got a better friend group and love interest.

It sucks that manga like this never manage to show the path to forgiveness properly. Forgiveness requires effort on both sides and it doesn't happen overnight.

Apology -> compensation -> atonement -> forgiveness -> reconciliation

Yet it always leads to either the offended forgiving the offenders too easily without any compensation/atonement or the offenders choosing the wrong path and destroying any hope for forgiveness.

This manga skips all the steps and goes straight ahead to reconciliation. I completely understand if the author wanted the Haise to end up with Sasha badly. But this is not the right way to do it, unfortunately. It just makes the characters look shallow. The process could have been interesting but now the author to ruin it.

I would really love to see a manga where the offenders try to make the effort to atone out of sincerity and concern, not just beg for forgiveness and do it for the sake of getting rid of guilt. This manga just ain't it.

With the premise and the cover alone seem like it's going to be another Edgy OP MC with a harem, quite similar to the arifureta series, even with eye-patch and all...
I get arifureta vibes from it, teenager or smt mc, went from kind of a loser to this strong ass guy that uses guns and modern tech in a medival Fantasy world, both mc got betrayed(well hyce is just a horribly worded attempt from the girl[so forgettable i dont even remember the name after reading]) tho this one seems to gonna have a bit more substance story wise but its still just junk food in manga form

Thank you very much to the people translating this series.
Even if the story kind of deflated, it is still interesting.

Honestly, I've been keeping up with the original web novel out of morbid curiosity. I don't blame anyone for dropping this story if they haven't already, but I figured I'd give some form of closure regarding the rift between the two main characters.

Btw, the web novel and light novel are pretty much the same, some arcs and added material that don't change the story much get added in the LN version. The manga adaptation is walking its own path at this point.
Hyse and his group, coupled with Sasha and Sacred manage to clear the final labyrinth, but there's a moment where the last part of it is reserved for two people only. You can guess who the candidates are.

We get more insight into Sasha's thought process when Hyse asks her if he was ever really an adventurer when he was powerless and everyone else in Sacred surpassed him in some way at the time. Sasha says that he was always an adventurer despite his struggles and admits that she was in the wrong for how she treated him. She says that at the time, she knew (or at least according to herself, realized) that he was the type of person to deny being protected by/dependent on anyone, including her, despite how dangerous the path had gotten for all involved.

While it's no excuse, this is why she pushed him away by being so cruel, leading to his banishment. I'm not excusing how she treated him coupled with allowing most of her team (barring Robin despite choosing to stay) to do the same, while they claimed it was justified in their eyes by saying "Well, we knew he wouldn't back down if we were nice about it, so we chose the route of being cruel." Yet, they seemed willing to give others a chance early on by patiently training them but not him (which is its own issue) but hey, at least she's being honest now I guess.

Anyway, while she felt her heart was in the right place considering she didn't want him to die, the conversation gets to the point where she calls herself scum for trying to make him quit. She admits that she was really trying to please herself by thinking she was doing him a kindness: kicking him out to ensure he stayed alive no matter how much he would hate her for it. Sasha assures to him that because he never gave up since childhood, he is her aspiration. Not to mention everyone (including Reynold and Piazolla) knows and acknowledges he did exactly what he said he'd do and is now untouchable at this point.

Mind you that to this day, despite his actions/choices that may signal otherwise, Hyse still hasn't forgiven Sasha and she knows this. She could apologize or lament on how much she wants it until kingdom come: Haise still wouldn't bestow forgiveness. She continues to live with that to the point where she doesn't think he'll reciprocate her feelings. However, that doesn't stop her from growing jealous when another girl brings out a side of him that hasn't been shown to anyone but Sasha since childhood. Not to mention she straight up confesses to him in a prior chapter.
After being shot down by Sasha twice (lol), Reynold moves on. Later on in their trip to the demon world, a girl named Cynthia falls in love with him at first sight and in the latest chapter, they actually make something of that relationship by becoming a couple.
I'll be honest, despite all of this, coupled with being reminded of just how bad it was when this whole thing began, I still don't think Sasha deserves Hyse. But if I bring up what she does in the latest chapter, y'all will more than likely freak out, and this story and it's characters are divisive enough as is.
