I can't believe I have to drop another series because of the simple fact that characters aren't simply uninterested in magic and therefor don't use it, no no no, it has to be that they are UNable to use it, it's such a shit trope for magic or swordsmanship to be some sort of exclusive skill that is only possible for those born with it, as if that's realistic in any way what so ever.
