I put off reading this for a while precisely because of this, and now that I'm caught up, I still don't know where the author is trying to go with this. Feels like the author is trying their best to design a plot around the fact that bro is a cat, and cats are cute. And that's about it. He doesn't really know to resolve anything here, whether its in regards to the plot, or the relationship between tama and the elf.
