I like this story, but I think that the author isn't... good at this. They put a lot of heart in it, I think they care about the story. But it feels like a lot of the writing is at the skill level of maybe a 13-year-old? An exceptionally horny 13-year-old with a bestiality fetish.
Like in these chapters, you have them struggling against powerful enemies so Tama uses the trump card that we all knew he was going to. But the enemy uses a last-gasp type of attack that will guarantee a kill! And Tama can't dodge because he needs to continue his attack? So dragongirl decides to take it, valiant sacrifice. But Aria does a plot-necessary power-up to do... something. And that apparently wins the battle and cancels the attack? Even though it doesn't actually show the attack being cancelled or mention it. And so everyone goes home to feast, they won. Except weren't they there to kill the demon? And they haven't yet.
I dunno, maybe I should just enjoy it for what it is.
