That Azel dude's probably gonna live, I do find it frustrating when a lot of the MC just lets Mass Murderers, Assassins or criminals go because they "aren't worth my time" only to have innocent people suffers later because of it.

Yeah, that's basically how I feel with some of KS's projects. It feels like they don't have a decent proofreader for many of the stuff they're working on.

Thanks for the heads up, I was truly worried we were headed to friendship is magic level writing. Well not that this arc or series as ever been better then average.

i think the only series to have ever pulled off “the power of friendship” well was fairy tail. this series is trying to do the same thing with the whole “if magic is used for someone else” thing, but it feels like a copout just to make them get stronger at a rapid pace. at least in fairy tail it was basically “magic output and strength are tied to emotion” which meant that, good or bad, you could have a temporary boost that didnt mean you would win. if i remember correctly there were many times where characters got that boost and still werent strong enough until someone who could synergize with their abilities showed up like that time when gray and juvia had to meet up in the middle of battle to do the combo spell that didnt even end the fight anyway iirc.
