I wonder if the ring on page 16 is meant to be an asexual ring? The author is a lesbian so it seems entirely possible she’d be aware of the connotation of the black ring on the right hand.

Not saying it is, but if so it’s a funny as hell choice to have an asexual character walk up and whisper “hey yeah your girl crush loves to kiss when drunk lol”

Ah so Koharu and Rio did possibly come back. It's a bit odd how they are both similar and different from A Collar Only for You, as I REALLY couldn't see Koharu talking about making a hickey on Morikubo in front of her SO. Or it could just be the author reusing characters and designs since they do look slightly different (like the moles under Rio's eyes) and the timelines don't quite line up well with the previous series. It said it was a shared universe, but the more I look and think about it, the more I don't think so.
