YESSSS, SOMEONE ACTUALLY NOTICED. THANK GOD SOMEONE NOTICED, I WAS HYPERVENTILANTING EARLIER BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO NOTICED MATSUBASE'S DESIGNS LOOKED SIMILAR TO CHŪYA'S🙏🙏🙏 EVEN THE VIBES TOO, YES!!!! oh dear God, thank you for noticing. I felt glad, matsubase really has a similarity to Chūya's designs and vibes at the same time. The personality, the way he pose, the coat around his shoulders, his eyes, and the zestyness. He even have heterochromatic eyes to add into it, what a great coincidence, y'know. Such a shame I found this manga and this comment of yours 3 years late, I'm just speaking my thoughts out.

Detective gives Chūya Nakahara vibes and it's not just the design

The detective, or should I say Matsubase Hijiri-san's designs looked similar to Chūya Nakahara, a character from the hit animanga Bungo Stray Dogs... but with a shorter hair, so his designs looked close to 15 or 16 y.o Chūya's design, yet with Dazai's mafia clothes. He even gave the same vibes as Chūya, with that confident pose and the black coat around his shoulder. He also had a terrible backstorty aswell. What a great coincidence, ohh how much I love it!

Hell yeah, I want to see the parents digging their own grave. Then again, it'll be hard without Sacchi's testimony which again would be hard/impossible to get without exposing her first. This in turn would obviously be a huge gamble.
Maybe they could fake a diary or something, although I'm not too sure how much this'd be worth in court...
Maybe they could co-operate with the teacher, tricking him into lessening his sentence.
