He probably could ask the detective for help with getting him properly registered and then adopting sachi, but they both have their problems so it's not easy for either of them to ask for help

Ugh can we please stop the killing/getting killed/killing some else parts.
I wonder when the mister will ever take off his mask, how does one even sleep like that...
Thanks to the past self for confirming/stating a few things that have been hinted at before...

Who the hell sleeps with a mask on? They'd better explain why he's obsessed with covering his mouth. I swear if it's a dumb reason like "to stop girls from talking to me"...

Honestly, why da fuk is it always like this? A (dark)mature story starts off unique and interesting but slowly devolves into a very generic development. When I think about it, the tension and edge-of-the-seat feelings are only there because you know the characters are going to make some bad decisions. The patterns are all there. First, insecurity intensifies. Second, characters finally looked like they came to a firm solid decision only to subvert the expectation on the next part where it is reveal the characters are still indecisive like before. And then, the same thing keeps repeating for a few times until something runs out.
what are you even talking about???

Oh, so Mister doesn't even know his own real identity, huh. I think the best option for him is to let Sachi get taken in by the detective and then go work for him. I imagine a detective agency would have good use for someone who's able to take hundreds of photos of people without being noticed. Sachi needs some professional psychological help. I don't think that they can stay on the run for much longer before she becomes a murderer, and I don't think Mister wants that blood on his hands.
I'm not sure if Mister is still talking able being a criminal because of the kidnapping or not, but if he is, he needs to get over it. That could easily be swept under the rug if she comes out and reveals that she just ran away from her abusive mother.

Yeah, when they were on the beach trying to kill the detectives, I was wondering how long it would take before it turns into a repeat of The Killer that Loves You. By the end of that series, you just hate the female main character.

Just get legally adopted by the detective and then shack up with Mister! Easy peasy. :p
Yeah that's what I was thinking. If this story has a happy ending, which I doubt it does but I haven't checked, it would be where Sachi gets legally by the detective and Mister goes to work at the detective agency. Maybe they'd live together, but I don't know anything about Japanese CPS, so they might shut that down, but at least if his employer is her legal guardian they'd see each other regularly.
