This is pretty good for an alternate timeline. I've always liked Utaha and this is a blessing for me.

This was really good for a spin-off and I really loved the ending! But unfortunately the Utaha here isn’t as charming as the one from the original series... This helped me get over any lingering regrets, so it was a fun read all the same tho.

I Loved the ending especially since best girl finally got what she wants.

Does the Japanese community favor her the most or is it the mangaka or author

I despised, everything about this franchise, as a concept.

The fact that it was relatively successful only made me hate it more so.

So some closing thoughts. I really found the idea of the "real" world paralleling Kasumi's written world to be intriguing, namely the love triangle... but that thread was hardly explored. The LN/anime industry is a neat backdrop, but I personally thought it took up too much real estate in the progression of this story. I cared about the relationships between characters, not every minute detail in the process of developing an anime. Besides some occasional "hints", Sagara is not shown to be seriously interested in Aki until the last number of chapters.

As I type this out and read some of the other comments, I'm realizing this is a spinoff work that sets up Kasumi as the winning heroine, which changes my impression a bit. I'd then liken this to be more fanservice than standalone manga. In any case, it was decent--7/10
