I think people are mistaking MC into being OP, but he is not.

Souta and Kano reached Level 19, but although that's well above the world's average, that's not the highest by any means.

Many adventurers are stronger than that, hell, the Student Council President is likely stronger than that, and even those "slaves" from Otoha could be stronger too.

So if Souta does something against a criminal organization, it's not like punching some random guys is a hit against the entire organization. Also, the status settings don't exist far away from the dungeon, meaning that if he is at home, he is not super human, and just a bunch of black suits with pistols are more than enough to kill the whole family, and these influential nobles can do a lot of stuff and remain unpunished.

So this is not one of those swords and magic isekai where you get slaves, sex at 15 years old, and human rights don't exist so you can kill all bandits you meet.

All that the players can do is access to stronger abilities (that also require much more MP) and they also know about game mechanics unknown in the world, but this information can be easily spread among others, and they can learn everything themselves. Kano is one such example, the group that learned about the new castle in Floor 7 where Souta and Kano were attacked is also an example of player interference, and talking to Akagi about the special sword, and warning the other guy against that sword.

Certainly Souta is stronger than members of Class D, C and like B, but Class A could still be stronger than him in level numbers, although he would be a better fighter since, unlike the natives who can die only once, the players were able to create fighting abilities after tons of trials and failures, since there was no risk of permanent death.

But don't worry, Kano does get some fun overpowering revenge against the leader of said organization.

He's OP, he has far more skill slots than anyone else and the skills he has access to from being a player are high leveled skills that NPC's can't even reach like Overdrive, Blade of Agares, Void Shock Slash and others he also has Jormungadr a dragon summon he hasn't managed to use yet.
On top of that he also has his normal skills which are 11 so basically it's like running around with two builds in the same character.

Kano does not kill him so he will come back later as the leader of the ninja clan said that now the retired leader has come back and one of the affiliated colors clan are also joining.

Honestly just gonna drop this until it has like 60+ chapters out because the pacing just feels fucking awful. I get that it's a slow burner but we've basically just been stacking loose end on top of loose end for 30 chapters now, the MC has had 0 character development besides gaining 19 levels - he's still a wishywashy pushover that leaves you feeling murky because you know eventually he's gonna do the MC thing "because he's the MC so of course" instead of actively showing improvement in any area, and every side character is still stuck in a rut of sorts.

Yeah he's not OP (or rather, conditional OP), but he's probably strong enough to take on class D's top rung by now? Still acting like a coward while others around him suffer - which again, would be perfectly fine if you didn't know he's going to do something about it eventually just because he's the MC and it's that kind of story.

Literally just chapter after chapter just feeling murky after finishing it because nobody takes a step forward including the story, for 31 chapters now. Absolutely awful to read on a release by release basis instead of waiting until it has a shitload of chapters out and reading in bulk past the opening.

It's even worse since, I'm up-to-date with the WN/LN and everything so far feels like just a prologue.
Everything that happened until now (4 LN volume) and 5 (WN arcs) happened in two months and half with very little happening except that he managed to introduce everyone and their motivations. But MC stills the same pathetic pushover with even more reasons to continue acting like. (with no goals whatsoever, the story is destroyed already thanks to the other player actions)
The only difference is that
Everyone around him except for the rest of his classmates and the other player who's dumb as hell and hasn't figured it out despite several evidences that he's a player.
Tachiki (Nerd four-eyes) knows that he's strong, otherwise he would not be called by the student council president nor would be friends with Risa. Kaoru suspects that he's strong and is hiding something and is trying to get closer to him, she often calls him to go to the dungeon together and even try to become his partner during training sessions, but he is always refusing.
Another heroine Kuga is his partner when it comes to the dungeon and even made a bento for him and so on...

Thanks for the heads up this is even worse than I expected; guess I'll be back at 100+ chapters if the manga version doesn't get axed then lmao..
