Huh, I feel like it's wrong on chapter 11 for him to say "I thought you'd use Simple Appraisal but you didn't", because she used "Appraisal" (he wouldn't know the difference), but just like she felt discomfort from being appraised, he too felt it from her appraisal.

This is also related to the fact that Simple Appraisal is usually a skill that is overwritten with more useful skills by adventurers, and since they have limited skill slots, having it indicates a newbie adventurer.

Kano indeed has already overwritten hers, and instead used a magic item to use the superior version of Simple Appraisal, but she can't show that to others, as it's a really rare item and could lead her into trouble.

The real reason she's that weak here, is because the mangaka skip the Bloody Baron Arc.
An Arc where she and Souta would be diving at the 14th floor and ends up fighting the boss there. So she would gain a lot of experience fighting alongside the MC, but since the manga doesn't have this boss fight. So it's like this.
Nerfed as fuck.
No boost hammer and no Mithril Armor.

That week only matters insofar as there's no competition. Once we're caught up it won't exist at all with competition.

I don't necessarily have a problem with paywalled chapters in the wild only because competition tends to kill the practise. I wouldn't pay for any of them since all it takes is a cheeky dmca for all my coins to mean jackshit, or I could end up paying for stolen chapters like philia scans was/is(?) doing.
