Yeah, this story is boring. Yet another slop showing how nobles are so so evil and bad and shit. Stupid MC thats to scared to fight to not "change the game", each second page he does something brain-dead to a degree. One time he fights like a power house, then he gets 10+ levels more and loses to a single person in like 2 seconds flat. Mediocre level of translation doesn't help either.

Like I think the only reason why I still even read this is cause its released in like bursts of many chapters cause of the snipe/new group stuff happening, so I forget why I dislike it between each of those batches. Plus at least 3 girls are good looking in my eyes, spy girl, MC sister and prez, I don't think sister will grow up like 5 cup sizes for me to start not liking her ;).

The whole trope of not revealing powers because something might change needs to go away. In every story we get presented it doesn't really matter because everyone finds out soon enough and not much typically changes. Even if it does it should make the noble children more hesitant to freely attack him, his family, or friends.

MC has literally had a limb removed and a sword plunged through his chest and his concern is that someone might find out is powers? Even if he is still trying to convince himself that this is ultimately a game, how many of the people he's developed connections to may get hurt from the behavior of the same nobles that would sacrifice him for the sheer amusement of seeing a summoned demon.

great writting to have a girl commit a major crime in a seemingly extremely pointless way, she summons a demon to get rid of the other two nobles but because they are nobles they also have warp stones
so she basically just commits a major crime for no fucking reason at all?

Suou Kouki is apparently a guy, and we don't really know why he summoned the demon lord aside from seemingly being given the item and told what it does. Also it's common enough knowledge that nobles have access to warp stones, so it couldn't be something as stupid as what you're saying.

I'll be honest this manga is incredibly mediocre aside the parts about MC doing the bridge farm thing in the beginning

Please someone tell me that at one point the mc will move his ass. At this point, it's a pain to read this. I mean yeah maybe he isn't prepared for this fight but come on, it's been like 20 chapters that the story got disrupted. It's too late now and the mc still doesn't want to involve himself too much. I think i prefer to read another generic isekai, i will have more satisfaction than this.

Suou is a man.

Also, in this translation he is calling this Demon a ¨Greater Demon¨, but the real name is ¨Lesser Demon¨, and that is what's everyone calls it in the novel.

And here we have another difference between the novel and the manga, in the novels, Suou summons the demon uninterrupted, Narumi did not try to stop him or anything, as he too was caught by surprise, but I guess the manga is trying to building more on Tsukishima since
he will be the next "boss"

If i recall the MC is supposively talented in this game, hes good at PKing, knows how to level well, and is above the standard, however in this situation he wasnt able to use any of the skills of his character to go all out. I think the story is really good at illustrating that when you don't take action, bad actors are always going to take advantage of it, the only things hes really done is strengthen his character's family and one classmate, I kind of like how the story is going because of how the world continues to move and doesn't wait whether the MC is prepared or not.

No, in the manga Suou is a woman.
Look at chapter 68 raw.

just change mc, cuz holy s*** this mfs is soo pathetic, this is chapter 53, and he got nothing to f***** shows, powerless you say ???? who beat that monster boss fight in the previous chapter ???? if that ain't u then idk what is.
Players are weaker than the NPC's in normal battles, they need to activate their player skills to win.
Also in the manga, Souta is lvl 19 while Suou is 25.
Souta has 30% decrease in Strength and 50% decrease in Agility.

The same happens with Tsukishima (The Third Player) he gets whooped by the Student Council President and only manages to win because he used his player skill.

I'm sure this manga will pay off in the long run, right guys? Guys?
This arc is terrible but the pay-off at chapter 58, 59 and 60.

Souta gets tired of holding back his power after almost dying to Suou, loses all his weight and uses his player skills to defeat the Giant Devil.
BEcause of that he ends up rizzing Kuga and Tenma at the same time, his achievement allows Class E to win over Class D because of the points of achieving 20th flooor and the Boss's Magic Stone.
Tsukishima wanted to win the magic stone event and use that feat to woo Kaoru, but Souta's stone was of much higher quality, so he ends up having a bad rep in class (since he basically left his event and did nothing), Kaoru gets confused about why suddenly her loser CF managed to do big.

It's a girl. Page 2 shows a list of the story characters. So if you're ever in doubt about the gender of a character you can refer to that.
Ah so it was just mistranslated. I looked at the character list, but i wasnt sure which of the 2 was translated wrong.

I mean with the way the setting is the MC has good reasons for not acting out too much.

He realizes that his main advantage as a player is being aware of what is coming next. Which completely disappears if the story gets too off the rails. Though at the same time he's petrified about getting too close to Kaoru's crew and somehow triggering Souta's destined expulsion. He was kind of getting over that but meeting Sera and getting his future read brought that back fierce.

Another issue is this game has a difficulty curve that caps how high of a level you can get playing solo which he is pretty much at. This is made even worse in his current situation where everything is real (the prospect of actual death slows down any solo activity) so any display of strength he makes looks really weird from someone so young that's not noble. Any time he does anything in front of anyone who isn't Tenma (she is ridiculously trusting for someone in her position) he has to explain himself in a way that doesn't get him or his family blackbagged. Because the only people at his level are usually veteran adventurers, nobles who got power leveled and have been in dungeon school for years, or spies who have gone through a hellish training regimen.

This whole scene is different in the light novel. In the light novel he was fairly confident he could defeat the boss 1v1 with player skills so he just sorta watches Suou do his thing without caring much. Though he later does comment that facing it in reality was a lot more distressing than in game. He was more worried about showing off his player skills than going "we can't possibly defeat this!". Which was proven to be something to worry about when he makes himself seem even more like a spy because skills that were common in the game are exclusive to certain countries in this world. Luckily Tenma is ridiculously trusting.
