I will say this is a rather interesting premise as MC despite being super into the game before finds himself melding with Butao mentally which is causing him to like hold back on enjoyment. I would have thought if he was recognized as the like best player of the game he'd already be preparing the usual goofy gimmicks present at the beginning of the series but the dissonance between that and the person he took over is rather interesting although the characters are like strange in this lol.

This actually helped me understand the novel a little better... There were some finer points of his motivation that threw me while reading this part in the WL, and this was a lot clearer IMO.

So far MC is managing to redeem himself, I like how he's pulling his sister along, since she's not a main character there won't be dire consequences of having her survive or not.

But what worries me is the fact that the Hero is using a thief class, now I know the advantages of a assassin class and some mangas highlight it's advantages, but I dunno, usually Hhe hero should have a more dignified class or something. I'm worried if the pig MC is the indirect reason of this change.

Narumi the MC definitely missed the point. The moment the players were transported to that world, uh Yuma & Sakurako, those two hero & heroine characters, uh became ... SIDE CHARACTERS.

The hero status and heroine status were given to players, lol.

Thief class is the weakest class ... until Skyrim ( cough stealth archer cough ). Assassin's Creed made a trope out of this.


Author just went in the trope. Dark Souls + Stealth Archer. To think they will kill King Leoric ( Volgemut ) very early.

He is actually the Disaster / Calamity in this world. He better hide. Probably the 4 saints of the past also knew Saiaku, that's why they sent their agents.
