I think they mentioned in an earlier chapter that since he's closer to a dragon now he may well be immortal

they mention it about the same page when they said that he have dragon power. he is about immortal now.

Like someone else already mentioned here; it’s basically an epilogue wrap up. Don’t expect any huge arcs, but we will get a nice little bow I guess.



As far as I remember the last piece of info we got, was that his lifespan is very long now, so any love life with a human would be sad, but then the 2 goddesses started cat fighting over him as well as as some comment from stagnant to “subtly” hint to his future love life with gods.

Not sure where you guys got that misinformation but I'm sorry to say you guys are plain wrong and misleading a lot of people.

people keep saying that theres no more novel material to keep the story going, but honestly theres so much "side content" that has been sprinkled through the series that they can just fall back to. like the elf girl that gus and the others helped, or a mini arc of the dwarfs rebuilding their city in the mountain. i also really need to see what happens once the seal opens and the guy that summons demons breaks free.

This is something a lot of people don't actually know but a lot of the extra content that has been adapted came from the Web Novel which wasn't available in the Light Novel. There's always the off chance the mangaka might adapt the web novel exclusive arc.

But I'm really hoping by the time the mangaka is close to wrapping this arc up the author would have released a new volume but well it's been 7 years since their last release and 4 years since their declaration of writing their new volume. They completely disappeared from twitter again for nearly a year and their status is unknown.

Not sure where you guys got that misinformation but I'm sorry to say you guys are plain wrong and misleading a lot of people.

“Well who can say/who knows”
It is very vague, also coming from an eternal god, the “might live some amount longer” could be anything really.
And since the author didn’t continue his work, we will never know.

So unless you have some official info from the author, all we can say is: we know nothing reliable/definitive. (though to me this seems intentionally vague, to keep the path open, to do whatever the author feels like at the end...)

But yeah I parked the forum discussion in my head as part of the chapters. I wonder which chapter was mentioning his love life, if there even is one. Seems like it was before the dragon fight, at least I didn’t see anything when skimming the after dragon fight chapters. ¯\(ツ)/¯

Ah... not sure what you're going on about but I think you might have missed the point? I was just correcting misinformation which was like you just said your own personal opinion and interpretation like it was factual and gave it context. You're cool to have your own assumptions but do it in a way where it's not going to be taken as fact.

Again not sure if you're asking me if there's anything regarding his love life? But if you are then there's only very few times where it was mentioned the only memorable ones I can recall were when he wanted to one day bring his future kids to the city of the dead to meet his family, Gus harassing Will for great grandchildren and Menel's plans to watch over Will's descendants. The current arc in the manga will give you more insight towards it later.

is it? i remember Will have a whole monolog about how he is different from human and may lost his humanity and become just like the dragon. it would be weird to be that worry not because of his life span. i may just got dalmatian.

I don’t recall this was in the novel, maybe it’s original content onward?

These kind of side stories are in the novel, as sort of an epilogue. I remember we've still got a little bit of wrap up to do that belongs to the original author's content (including one for Reystov ), and then after that we'll see if the manga artist starts adding their own thing.

Spoiler: Concerning Reystov's wrap-up story:

One of the very last stories in the epilogue is Reystov's wedding with the priestess, I believe her name was Anna or Anita? We get a little side story of him asking the bishop who raised her in the orphanage for permission to marry her, and we get to end on a wedding, even if it's not Will's marriage.
